This compact home in the beautiful Awatere Valley was designed and built specifically with thermal performance in mind. This project received the Resene Colour Award at the 2023 Nelson & Marlborough Architecture Awards .

A heritage restoration and extension in Rapaura, carefully refurbishing the original cottage and adding a cohesive annex and double garage with integrated laundry and office spaces, delivered with craftsmanship, restraint, and respect for the building’s original character.

Brookby New Build

A multi award-winning compact new house for a young family. Covenants on the site demanded a very particular building envelope so communication and close team-work was key for this project. Challenges with excavation and foundation requirements occurred but clever solutions on a tight budget always prevailed.
