Wellness-Focused Co-Shared Office
A wellness-focused architectural commercial build designed as a co-shared workspace, combining high-performance construction and human-centred interior design to create a light-filled, energy-efficient environment for multiple businesses.
Design: Rural Workshop Architecture
Wellness Interior Direction: Jade Hurst – Good Space

A modern interpretation of the rural shed, designed as a high-performing co-shared workspace supporting multiple professional businesses.
Developed around the principles of wellness architecture, the building prioritises natural light, thermal comfort, acoustic performance, and spatial clarity to create a calm, productive environment. Interior direction by Jade Hurst of Good Space reinforced material selection, flow, and human-centred detailing.
The dark weatherboard exterior is crisply resolved, with steel eyebrows framing a repeated window and skylight rhythm that draws controlled natural light deep into the interior. Lean-to utility forms sit along the entry side, allowing the primary volume to remain clean and fully expressed to the pitch.
Structurally Insulated Panels, European joinery, and low-energy mechanical systems were specified to achieve strong thermal performance and long-term efficiency. Durable, locally sourced materials further reinforce the building’s sustainable intent.
REAL Workspace demonstrates George Guthrie Construction’s capability in delivering architecturally detailed commercial projects that integrate performance, sustainability, and wellness-led design.
