Restricted Building Work

Did you know? From 1st March 2012 changes to the Building Act 2004 took effect, meaning that if your building work impacts on the building’s structure, weathertightness, or the design of fire safety systems, it’s classed as “restricted building work”. All restricted building work requires you use a licensed building practitioner (LBP) – to do it.
